But if you occasionally use the wrong gender for a noun, people will usually still understand you. My name is Tina, a German-Chinese girl from Germany, currently living in Hong Kong. Before, I lived in Beijing, Shanghai, Montpellier, and of course Germany. Growing up in a bilingual household, I am now able to speak both German and Chinese fluently. English has always been my favorite subject at school, and having self-studied French during university, I am now fluent in four languages. I graduated from the University of Göttingen with a double degree in Economics and Chinese Studies. I also participated in exchange programs at Osaka University, Japan, and Hong Kong Baptist University. Before, I worked as a German teacher in Düsseldorf, teaching students at B1-C2 level who are planning to work or study in Germany. Nice to meet you! I am a German citizen based in Sham Shui Po with a Master's Degree in literature at the Eberhard-Karls-University Tubingen. I offer classes at all levels, from beginner to advanced. Each class will begin with conversational German exercises as communication is essential to learn a language. Subjects range from general lessons in Grammar and vocabulary to more preparations for specialized scenarios, such as job interviews for example. I was born and raised in Germany- so my "mother tongue" is German, altough my parents are from Vietnam. I worked at a language school in Germany and taught German intensive courses. My main focus was teaching classes at the C1 and B2 language levels. However, I am also familiar with teaching basic levels (A1 - B1). In addition to the regular language courses, I also participated in conducting official language exams (telc-exams). I am an official certified examiner for the oral exams and can prepare my students, as I know exactly what the requirements are for passing them.
