First lesson is Free. Having been working in software engineering for 20 years, I'm now a tutor in computer science, coding, and IoT. I returned from Ireland (15 years) to Hong Kong in 2019. After graduation from a Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Computer Science from the University of Melbourne and Victoria University of Technology, I worked in various tech giants such as Compaq, HP, and Accenture. I started as a programmer and eventually became a project director in Hong Kong, Australia, and some European Union nations including Ireland, the UK, and Poland. My strengths in programming are C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, and Python (machine learning). After returning to Hong Kong, I started tutoring IGCSE Computer Science, IB Diploma, and DSE (Diocesan School of Education) as these were not very familiar to me. This is a new beginning for me, even though I scored A and B grades in HKCEE Computer Studies and HKALE Computer Studies as well. After checking their syllabus, I found that they are similar to AL (Advanced Level) Computer Studies that I had studied before. Nowadays, after teaching those subjects for 3 years, I mainly teach CIT (Computer and Information Technology) of DSE, Year 7 to Year 12 in Computer Science of GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education), and IB Diploma. During that time, I also teach programming courses, such as JavaScript and Python, in international schools. I am currently building a quadruped robot under the cooperation and sponsorship of a startup company. The current students come from both local and international schools, such as Pu Chiu Secondary School, Choi Ji Chung College, Diocesan College, Yew Chung College, Malvern Secondary School, Chung Tsin Primary School, St. Francis Xavier's English Primary School, etc.

I have been teaching for more than 10 years in the field of IT, programming languages, and computer science concepts. I empathise with the learners' cognitive process when embarking on the journey of learning programming language which is abstract in nature. I assist in visualising the thought process and break down the learning curve into smaller chunks.

I am Farhan Yusuf Khan, an international undergraduate student at the University of Hong Kong currently studying Computer Science. During my high school, I studied in the British Curriculum and sat for Cambridge O Levels and A Levels Examinations, achieving A*/As. Since I have studied in the British Curriculum my entire life, I am fluent in English and knowledgeable in international curriculum. I have also been learning programming for more than 4 years and have experience in coding with Python, C/C++. I also have experience with competitive programming and qualified for the national round of the Programming Olympiad in my home country. I believe I can help students delve deep into this broad and intriguing field. I am currently working as a Student Teaching Assistant at the University of Hong Kong, where I help students enrolled in the Computer Programming I course with programming problems. In Hong Kong, I have taught programming in Python to grade 5 and grade 3 students from KCIS Hong Kong. I have also co-founded a Coding Club in high school where we taught programming and computer science to interested peers.
